F4RT Gearbox End Sealant

Hey guys, got a quick question. I've got an engine ready to go into my Meglio, but its looking like the sealant on the main cap gearbox at the gearbox end is a little bit past it and is leaking. What's best process for resealing this? Will I need to remove the main cap or is there another way to do it? I don't really want to disturb any of the bottom end and risk causing any premature failures etc, but if its the only way to do the job properly then I'll have to bite the bullet.

Cheers!

You will need to remove sump and main cap to do it properly mate.

Need to clean it all thoroughly, refit main cap, squeeze sealant in until it flows out of bottom and botn sides. Shine torch on it to check no gaps. Pray it doesnt leak.
