Clio F4r ktec Supercharged vs meglio f4rt

Hi all.

So I'm currently at that stage of wanting to boost my clio 197. I am unsure as to whether to keep the current engine and go down the root of the ktec supercharger kit or just swap the motor.. either way I will be looking at completly forging all internals. I'm not looking for stupid power but an absolute track weapon would be ideal.

Unfortunately i am unable to go for a drive in any boosted clio purely by not directly knowing anyone to ask, hence why I'm on here asking you knowledgable fellows/gals.

(Not your average stupid question as I am a fully experienced mechanical engineer and a competent mechanic, just not familiar with the renault platform)

Kind regards.

I’m debating this myself. I had a 250 meg before - but wanted NA so went clio. For me supercharging keeps the essence of the car - albeit not as efficient as the meglio conversion. For me if I go meglio I may as well just buy a Megane.

Cooling seems to be mentioned quite a bit on the supercharger conversions - is it really a massive problem compared to the meglio conversion?
Use the 225rad, not the Clio one, its a bit larger, and daft as it may seem, make sure the fan is running the right way around.
