Exhaust with no back box

i have just had a exhaust made by longlife!! and it just consists of two pipes and no back box!! would like to know if this is going to slow the car down due to lack of back pressure or will it be fine cause it sounds amazine

Need a dyno to tell you.
Might give more top end power with less torque or vice versa. All engines are different, what suits one might not suit another.....

One things for sure......you need to post a video clip!

Considering this next........There is a box (small) but it's up behind the bumper. Thoughts are the single pipe, round, through and out will improve flow and therefore power......

I drove mine for a little buit with the backbox off with the intention of just having two pipes made up from each end. Little bit of a loss in bottom end power. Hell of a noise though and loads of pop backs. I was advised against going down this route as the police seem to be clamping down on cars that make too much noise!! Bought the Quicksilver instead to pop on.

Exhaust tuning is a fine art so would agree with Mike about measuring results before and after.

I would say there would be some negative effects somewhere in having no silencer which may also include your neighbours feeling a little bit unhappy LOL

The vee is staying and so is the scooby lol managed to change her mind god im good, the exhaust sounds wicked with no ack box i must say but there dont seem to be any loss with it other than my hearing as it is 126dp sounds like a supercar love it, so how can i get hold of de-cat pipes

live out im the sticks lol breacon way so all there is are the odd fiesta police car and open roads and who said vees cant handle big boys do it side ways locked rear diff is next and then drift on!!
