21 Turbo Exhaust manifold gasket

Hi all,

Currently in the process of getting my newly purchased 21 turbo up to scratch.

Question is, Do I have to use the turbo specific exhaust manifold gasket, or does the 2.0 NA version also fit?

even if it fits, I'd still was its going to be different material. When you do change it, BE VERY careful with the manifold nuts and studs. I'd be very surprised if you get them all out without at least one snapping off

Yeah, I was just trying to save a few pennies. I found that Amazon are selling them for half of what Renault want anyway, so i'll just order one from there.

The manifold has been off not long ago from what I can tell, so i'm hoping that the nuts all come off OK.

Someone tried to bodge the cracks with exhaust putty, which obviously didn't work.

You need the genuine one. Its not that much. The non OE ones will break up and disintegrate after a while they are shite.
Manifold cracks need grinding out, terminating at the end then welding up.
