EXHAUST COLLECTOR BOX HELP PLEASE!??

Hi guys,

My car suddenly got VERY loud last night so had the back box off and the colletor box has split at one of the joints [smilie=icon_eek.gif]

Does anyone know if this could potentially be welded?? If not where apart from Renault could I get one and roughly how much if anyone knows?

Is it the standard mk1 exhaust?

I would say there is no reason why it couldn't be welded but i would also say that the standard mk1 exhaust go for peanuts second hand.

Good oppertunity to get the cats ripped out mate, as there are 4 on the car one on each down pipe and two in the collector so removing those two will not put the emmisions light on.
