Engine Question

What type of system is it fella? I take it it will read both rear wheel speeds individualy and reduce the torque until neither are spinning as fast as the front? Its worth remembering that with an open rear diff one wheel can spin rapidly at a huge rate compared to the other. If what ever system you use reads just one wheel speed then the chances are it won't do much and shouldn't be trusted to lean on when pressing on. There are some extremely crude traction/launch control systems out there that actually do very little if anything. Just worth baring in mind.

I recall my plan for Racelogic traction control failed to happen, something about the throttle wire I was told?

I don't think the clio needs this does it? Very hard to unstick if not driving at 10/10ths.

Get your suspension sorted, loads more confidence/ planted feeling.

Its only 250hp

cheers buddy willl have a speak with them, and voice my concerns and let yous know

If you get something that works, I think it very well worth it in a vee if unlike 95% of the community you drive it in all weathers. The scariest moment I've had in my vee was driving from say 1500rpm to 4000rpm in 4th on a very greasy piece of tarmac in a straight line. I remember pretty much looking at my tax disc but luckily didn't get a slap on. That is the daft thing with the vee. If you drive it at 5/10s everywhere you will never need tc. At 10/10s you're fully focused on keeping it on the road. But pressing on with out thinking what you are doing is the worst. Thats where tc will keep you true in a straight line. Won't stop you going backwards into a hedge though!
