OMG he actually had chrome Elvis badges on the front and back too! That is the price i would expect for one with twice the 28k miles this has, so if it all checks out as straight then this is a great 1 owner car for anyone looking for a good value ph2.

I checked the MOT history and seems to line up with current mileage. I am in that part of the world this weekend and was intending to go have a look if still available.

Went to have a look at the 'Elvis car on Saturday. Touch of heartbreak hotel.... It was only a fleeting visit as I was a bit late and didn't get to drive the car so following are brief observations.

Good points were that car started on the button and made good noises. No bobbling on steering wheel and everything seemed to work in interior.
Bad points were mainly on the outside - budget tyres, rusting calipers and couple of small cosmetic issues including some kind of bubbling in the rubber seals in the Driver and Passenger windows. Also cracking in the paint on the drivers door.

All in all looked a car that needs a bit of TLC.

As I said, was only a brief viewing and probably issues that vendor could resolve on sale but it didn't have me itching to put down a deposit.

^^^ I think this is the rub. Might have lived outside all its life with minimal use... not good for some under-carriage components.
Really needs a good look over on a ramp.

So any update on what people think of this car? I am looking to put a deposit down on this if it’s looking good! I will probably get an Rav inspection to go out and look at it too as I live over 3 hours away from motor hub.
