Checked Go Compare (I know, I hate the advert too) came up with Admiral £283.70 with identical cover! There were others cheaper but mainly with massive excess.
Phoned Elephant to cancel and they matched Admiral saying they use the same underwriter.
Wouldn't it be nice to know that we were always offered the best deal on renewal ! [smilie=doubt.gif]

Yes. I just renewed the daily runner. Told them I want more off their premium reminder. OK Sir £100 off within 30 seconds.

They must expect people won't bother to ring them?

Got to renew the bike insurance - had the letter through saying £550, intend to get it lower than that TBH.
