5 GT Turbo EFI conversion ecu

Hi all,

Im planning to carry out efi conversion on my 5 and just wondering what ecu folk are using nowadays as all the posts I have read are pretty old, and the adaptronic 420d seemed to be the go to back then, I have emailed Chris at efiparts for a quote for necessary bits and Mike T regarding manifold, but would like to know if any modern parts are proven and favoured, so ultimately I can mither someone on here for help when it all goes wrong!

Use any modern ecu you want really. Ecumaster black, maxxecu, link all good options. Id use DBW instead of cable throttle personally.

Its a great upgrade, a world of difference. Hardest bit of it is getting the parts!

Mine is one of the old Michael Tierney inlet manifolds. As far as i know he stopped making them a few years ago.
