Door sill water ingress problem

HI guys.

I've just seen the video from SG regarding the door sill water ingress problem.
I was wondering how it can be sorted? Do I need to drill a hole in the door sill, if so where?

I don't want me vee to rust!

Ooh nasty rust/corrosion risk and probably an unexpected thing to happen to a Vee ... though not all mainstream cars have sill drain holes and can suffer from similar issues ...
