I would soak the pins in plus gas prior to removal., a good punch is needed to flog them out. If the door has play on the hinge you will need to go oversize.
Personally Matt i would just carefully lift the door a little by hand if you are having trouble closing it to bend the pins, do it when slightly open (a couple of inches but more or less parallell to the car). Its a ballache of a job to replace pins for larger to be honest, you will need a 90deg drill and it always results in chipped paint even with a 2 man job, all wiring needs to be removed etc. Its one of those jobs that you do before a visit to the bodyshop.
Matt, my passenger side door slightly dropped as you opened it so I did the lift the door up method to bend the pins slightly and been fine since but yes it would be nice to do it properly.
