Do Renault Really Care

It’s a question that I know the answer to but Renault just don’t seem to care about anything over 3 years old, I have had issues obtaining simple parts and don’t even get me started on Alpine parts, No way would I spend near 60k on a new Alpine knowing that they will drop support like a hot potato.

I’ve BMWs as well and I have to say they can still supply 90% of the parts for them.

It’s a shame that Renault don’t have a Classics division to keep there older cars running ☹️

I always wondered whether the pre-1980’s models were so riddled with rust worm, that the parent company was embarrassed with a heritage concept?

It’s a great source of frustration. It certainly means that yesterday-year Renault owners are left in a pickle.

Yeah but even so, so many parts were shared across the early range of cars, it would even be better if they released the license and let manufacturers make the parts I do seem to be able to get the fixings I need to put my car back together by the look of it but at £12 each for a fog light surround screw it’s a little mad, but my OCD won’t let me use anything other then OEM, and I need to them as the previous body shop lost them all

Totally agree. These licenses seem to be a stranglehold on manufacture of replacement parts. Seems totally ridiculous.
