hi,do us lovely members get a good discount on wheel and tyre packages anywhere? im after a set of 17"s with tyres.
i paid just over ?800 for my last ones but am looking to spend a bit less this time,ive found some 7x17s which are 5x108 but they have a 40 offset would these be ok? my last ones had a 35 which is the correct one.
once i get my wheels am looking to get her sprayed am toying with a colour change but dont know yet i dont like the red much i miss my blue one but if im going colour change was thinking of gold/flip

can you get a list of which wheels will fit? and prices of course, after a phonecall to wolfrace today they reckon they only have 3 types of wheels with the 21t fitment(and they all looked cack) im a bit gutted...there is a lovely set of black octanes with polished lip i can get of ebay with 40 offset i may go for these and get the spacers if nothing else turns up soon.
anyone flogging a set let me know please 17s only nothing smaller got cash waiting.

Octanes only come in a 5x110 fitment and you need to use 'wobbly' bolts to get em on - ur choice.

As for a list of wheels, ur having a laugh, theres loads out there mate, you just gotta look lol - visit www.rtecshop.com or summat like that, they have a very comprehensive list of wheels, also ask for Damian at Wheelbase (do a Google for their number) cos I cant remember it lol

it says they are 108 but they could be wrong,cheers for the other info will check it out ta but i dont like the sound of these wobbly bolt things....

I phoned for the Octanes before plumping for the ones I got now - and Wolfrace and Wheelbase told me they only come in a 5x110 and need wobbly bolts - Wobbly bolts have a 100% success rate and have never caused a problem to anyone fitting them, but I couldnt bring myself to fitting them on my car especially given the torque going thru the front wheels.

Mate, there are that many wheels out there for our car, a Ferrari 360 set would fit, you just need to have the arches rolled and the rims machined as the offset is et15 on them :wink: Honestly there are loads, you just gotta look - especially in the U.S, cos Ford USA use the 5x108 on almost anything
