I fancy trying some new wheels for next year. As far as I am aware there are only two different sets that will fit a ph2? Compomotive and Cromodora? If so That means I'm looking for a set of Compomotive if anyone wishes to sell??
There are plenty of Japanees companies that offer forged wheels in multiple widths with endless offsets. Get your cheque book out though. Enkie do some amazing wheels. There are also companies such as Rotiform that do single piece wheels to order too. I know that my wheels aren't hugely liked but they are to my taste and crucially they weigh less than the original wheels and fit perfectly. I can't see the point of "upgrading" a car with heavier wheels with the wrong offsets and widths. There are better wheels out there than the easy to find, off the shelf options. With abit of research you will find something perfect.
My "spares" are 16" military combat rims, no worries curbing them and 750-16 gives loads of rubber, especially in desert sand bar configuration!! [smilie=yay.gif]  You said you wanted different!!
As far as I've seen there aren't any wheels that really fit the Vee. The Croms stick out too much and the Comps need a fair whack of spacers from what I saw on the Acid at Goodwood...
