I had the QS Sport exhaust fitted on Monday.
The pops and bangs are great fun, but if I’m honest, I would have to say that I am thoroughly disappointed by the quality of sound during everyday driving. There is simply no crisp quality to the exhaust note, it is just a drone that changes its volume depending upon the load on the engine. It was so bad on my drive home today that I actually convinced myself that I would be returning it to KTec.
That was until I found myself an open stretch of duel carriage way and in a heartbeat all was forgiven. The exhaust note when flat out is just sensational and left me giggling to myself for the remainder of my journey home. The question is – is it worth putting up with the drone for those occasional blasts...?
