Damper rebuilding?

I recall reading that someone had sent their dampers to Koni for a rebuild, is that correct?
What is the rough cost per damper / is it cheaper to get BC Racing replacements? Indeed are they any goos, or a load of shiny shite?
Mine has developed a knock from the OSR and Everything that has been checked is tight / not worn / replaced apart from dampers.
There is a slight oil weep on the damper so I believe it's on its way out.
Just wondering what the best course of action is from hereonin....

Cheers James, surprised rear OE dampers are that low tbh. Though the rebuild sounds far more economically viable to me.
