DAB radio antenna

Has anyone fitted a DAB antenna to their windscreen? I feel its finally time to move on from the cassette player in the dash of a ph1 (and the cd changer) and have bought a DAB unit which comes with a stick on windscreen antenna. As this is a stick on once only unit I don't want to stick it to find it will not work given the reports of issues with the vee's windscreen. Instructions state to place this at the top of the screen but was wondering how well it might work if stuck into the square as it will just about fit with a bit of overlap. Anyone tried this?

Thanks Chris but really feel its now time to move on from that cassette player. (which, BTW, has never in my 9 years actually played one)

Fitted DAB Arial on the passenger side of screen as recommended in the installation instructions. Took a chance on it working and, after a brief test seems to be working well, defo more
DAB stations than I get on my home radio home so the screen does not seem to be an issue. Great to have Bluetooth music and hands free calls as well. Have to get used to the steering column remotes not working any more though. Only down side is the combination of grubby, sweaty fingers and sharp metal on the unit and its frame has made a bit of a mess of the silver trim around the radio and central heater vents.... it now matches the equally grubby door pulls. Note if you are doing this then somehow a bit of protection need to be stuck on the trim to stop the scratches and sweat.
