Cylinder heads

Yes, Scott has some TWR development heads that are sleeved and have been tested to flow better than standard.

30bhp gains usually?

I have done a fair bit of headwork on different Vees in my time and although I have received compliments on my results, sadly I never managed anything as good as that!!

THere are gains, i'm currently doing development work on the stock heads and TWR heads.

The TWR solution to a problem of massive port volume is a crude one, but they flow better due to higher velocity and an ever so slightly more generous short side, however its far from an efficient port shape.

V6 heads wont be cheap to modify as there is alot of work required to even bother doing so. A simple tidy up on these heads will be detrimential if most people start removing material as its already in a critically poor shape in vital areas.

I forgot about this thread sorry.

I had the heads done by HKS the Ralliart people. Loads of money!

I'm told it was worth it, but then I'm very easily lead.

A bit vague as usual I'm afraid.

All I was told is something about while we have your engine out, porting and flowing would be "great" modification.

Headwork (Per Port -inc valve seat work) £888.00
Strip Heads,reassemble £440.00

I imagine the car is now better since this was done. Perhaps some sort of electronic device would notice the difference it made?

Did they take any pics b4 and after? Its always a little dificult to prove major mods unless you over see them your self.
I do know of a dodgy Alpine specialist who rebuilt my dads engine without removing the sump!!!!
He is no chump my old man and refused point blank to pay said specialst.

Well I got pics of heads all nice and shiny but not heads all dirty. Got pics of something all coked up but pics of some other 'thing' all nice and shiny. They didn't seem to be the before and after of the same parts to me lol

Perhaps you can make some sense of it.
