Cruise Control not the european standard?

At least your total number of spain vin's went up to 1 :approve:

Now i'm hoping anybody else can clarify the questions that came up in this thread.
So if theres anybody with a clue...feel free to join this thread

I'm guessing it was an owners' retrospective attempt to lighten their Vee.
Well worth the 60g saved...

Accelerator pedal difference... mentioned in the technical manuals in our knowledge base

.. (There are two types of pedal: with or without kickdown point. These cars equipped with cruise control/speed limiter have an accelerator pedal with a point of resistance at the end of their travel (kickdown). This point of resistance makes it possible to quit the speed limiter function if the driver has to speed up)

From day 1 of owning my Vee I wondered what that resistance was in the throttle pedal just before the stop :approve:

also found this in the register:

No. 068 - France

So there have also been vees without CC in France!

"Available later in model year" ?

So that's the answer i guess!!
That's why only the early 255's (0-220) don't have CC.
I always hated footnotes....

Nice find James! [cmilie=iconcheers.gif]

Now we only need to find out what "ADDON Sport Pack 6" is all about

From Renault

"The first phase 2s didn't have cruise control or speed limiter. However, all right hand drive UK cars did have these items as standard."

So wonder whether it also means that the earliest UK cars were from a later batch? Wish we knew what the factory allocated numbers were!
