Evening everybody.
On Saturday I took part in a Concours event at Rolls Royce Edinburgh. The day was broken into two. Firstly, with Aston Martin Owners Club (AMOC) then the club I'm with Autobahn Scotland (AS). Some rather nice machinery on show, this link should show the variety -

Voting was carried out by an AMOC judge and a well-known detailer/valeter known locally to both clubs. There was a winner for AMOC and a runner up then the same for AS.
Safe to say the Aston owners took it very seriously (Clarkson was right!) think most turned up in trailers. Winners were a V12 Vantage and runner up a DB9 GT.
AS cars were -
Porsche Cayman GT4 1 of 1 paint to sample
Porsche 911 GT3 RS 991
Ferrari 360 Modena (yellow, manual)
Dodge Viper (newer one)
McLaren 720s
Lamborghini Huracan
Lamborghini Aventador SV
Porsche 964 (I think)
Ford Escort Cosworth
Ford Focus RS (Mk3) still had delivery stickers; seat covers etc
Clio V6 Phase 1
Winner -.... Clio V6 ….!
Runner up - Huracan
Was genuinely surprised but proper cuffed! They consider the age of car etc. I also put in some effort getting it as clean as possible and a big thanks to Duncan for some tips! I asked for feedback, and they were impressed with how clean the car was and that I done it myself. Negative feedback was that the Reno wheel badges could have all been pointing the same way.... seriously.
