Coil question again

Please forgive me if this question has been asked before (I'm a new member).
Just changed a faulty coil on my mk2 V6. Seemed straightforward enough and it now runs on six cylinders again - but the warning light for monitoring exhaust gas is now on constantly. Any ideas? Is the car safe to drive?

Assuming it was just the coil, and car feels right, the light will go out after approx 40 miles, not sure why, but it does ;)

The system will be full with un-burnt fuel from the misfire.

Once you have ran it for a bit the it will purge and the light should go out.

Unless of course you have screwed the cat up, then it won't go out.
how far was it driven on the faulty coil/misfire?

I spotted the misfire immediately on getting the car out if the garage so the engine was running only when I was identifying the faulty coil.

In which case it'll definitely go out with a few miles & starts. Drive it normally & then suddenly when you're not paying attention it'll reset :)
