Coil pack change

I know this is covered in knowledge base and I used it the first time to change one of the easy ones but now I’ve had another one go almost instantly on the test drive.

I’m waiting for a back operation so I’m after as much info as possible to get the chamber off.

I can see some 8mm bolts but what else needs to come off? Doing bits like this is not normally an issue for me but bending over the seats is killing me.

I’m going to replace them all so I don’t need to do it again.

Any help is appreciated.

I have all the coils @£33 from GSF it’s replacing the front ones that’s the issue. I wouldn’t mind if it would even let me drive it round the corner to a garage but itnstrggles to move.

Surely it’s time to call in a favour from a handy friend. Whereabouts are you? Maybe a member on here could assist?

At Euro 20 a coil, what a fantastic buy those Trophy Coils were back in 2014/15..........has anybody tried to source them in recent years?

I’m in Billericay, Essex.
I’m normally pretty handy on the tools and have done many engine swaps and conversions etc but I think those days are over.

If I can get clearer info of what needs removing so I’m not searching for hours I should be ok.

The three nearest the bulkhead are accessible from inside the car after taking the engine covers off, it's just the bolts that hold them in.
The three nearest the boot it looks like the top section of the inlet manifold needs to come off working through the boot, but I didnt need to venture any further luckily as the one that went on mine was bulkhead middle.

Thanks Dave, is there any pipe work that needs to come off? Throttle body etc?

No idea, I havent dug into it yet. I would imagine all the inlet pipework needs to come out and I guess the throttle body will lift out with the manifold segment, the top part that curves over the plugs/coils doesn't look that hard to get out.
