Cliov6 Passion - Linas-Montlhery - 29th-30th September 2012

Just a quick summary of times and costs.. hopefully to temp a few more of those 'wavering' on whether or not to come along.. ;)

Distance and time from Calais, route depending -

Euro Tunnel is still £88 - £108 return, time depending. This will only go up in price!

Route A - 334km and 3hrs 22mins

Route B - 318km and 3hrs 31mins

Allow approx. £150 for fuel there and back at about 28mpg @ £1.40ltr (plus some for moving about whilst there)

Accommodation is 44€ per room, per night. So for 3 nights allow approx. £105 per room for the 3 nights.

Gala type evening on Saturday night is 27€, about £22

So, in short.. if you're traveling as a pair, it'll cost just under £400 for the two of you. Share the cost... £200 each, plus spending money for the long weekend. Not bad really!

Plus what ever option of the following below.. Probably the last on the list for most, 'STATIC'

ROLLING DYNAMIC 1 DAY (Saturday or Sunday according to availability)
MEMBER OF V6clio.net (1 vehicle + 1 meal) : 149 euros

ROLLING DYNAMIC 2 DAYS (Saturday and Sunday)
MEMBER OF V6clio.net (1 vehicle + 1 meal) : 249 euros

One day DYNAMIC and one day STATIC (Saturday and Sunday)
MEMBER OF V6clio.net (1 vehicle + 1 meal) : 179 euros

STATIC: (Saturday or Sunday or both) with a"dedicated location" on the parking
MEMBER OF V6clio.net (1véhicule + 1 meal + "final parade") : 30 euros

Extra meal : 23€ per person per day.

Any more takers..? ;)

I and a couple of others will be securing our Chunnel crossings this week end. :)

7 weeks to go, and I can not wait!!! :)

Vincent, how many 5 Turbos, and how many v6's do you have already? Or is it too early for you guys? ;)

On a long journey? Why not? I wondered how long it'd take someone to actually reply to my post.. Lol

Re-calculate at 22mpg for ph1's by all means... Lol

On a good run my vee does 30mpg and still with the air con on, my 197 wont manage more then 28.5 with the air con off!

I'm chastise myself for not trying hard enough if I get anything over 20mpg. You cruise control pootlers knock yourself out though ;)

I do the same but for getting anything over 10mpg ;) Flat out get 9mpg ... now thats more like it :race:

If you want good mpg before the train/boat, dont follow a certain lunar grey!!!!! Last time I followed one running LATE to Felixstowe, no prizes for guessing who, I remember looking at a speedo reading 14*mph for a good distance and nothing less than 12*mph for nearly half hour. ;) Once my car cooled down on the train and we reached France my disks were fooooked and warped.

It's a bit early yes... as always, the largest part of the registration will arrive the last weeks or even the last days...... but by now we are around a dozen V6 and 2 R5 turbo who have confirmed :approve:
