Is there anyone out there that can help me with this.
The car is a 1994 Mk 1 Clio 1.8 16v.
From cold the car starts O.K. Immobiliser light comes on and goes out as it should. Engine cranks over and fires up first time.
Problem is that if the engine is switched off it will not start again until it has been left for at least 20 mins plus. No immobilser light shows and whist the car will crank over it will not fire up.
I have replaced the TDC sensor and had the immobiliser removed from the EMS- neither made a difference.
Anybody any ideas?
