Yes I noticed that car up for sale, it used to race in the German DMSB trophy series (Beru top 10), then went on to be raced by a chap called Willy Reichel 2004-2010 in other series.
If you google image search his name you get loads of pictures of the car over the years.
Yes your right, he has a self made front bumper with lights added, amoungst a few other changes too.

If you do go to have a look, please could you check out the plaque number on the dash, or even better the plaque number on the chassis (its located on the left hand side as you look in from the rear hatch. I'm after its number for the trophy register!

Just googled him... Car looked nice with green pods & headlights back then
I'll try to have a sneak when I'm back from Thailand in 3 weeks.
Although I just wrote an email to the seller, so maybe I'll get an answer soon.
