Clio V6 Phase I in a Very Sorry State

This one has been going round and round!! There are a string of threads on here about its provenance and what it actually is which bring up all sorts of problems relating to actual ownership! Best left well alone

Blow through twin carburettors - very 1970's and emission friendly
Just about to say same! twin SUs, used them in mid 70s on the first 5TS turbo we built, started with suck through, easy to sort the fuelling as all you do is emery the needle to increase the flow at certain dashpot lifts, change damping with oil! Suprisingly it was better than using a 48 dcoe through one choke and produced more power. Below is a picture of the original head and Rajay blower from a Lycoming aircraft engine from 77 experiment, still got it!

I should have advertised my VEE the same way, "for sale I have my Renault Clio V6, Brand new 10 years ago" lol

Shame to see these cars in this state...

I particularly like this one : "Front wheels need the tyres balancing as it shakes at the front over 60 MPH"
HMM! ... Are you sure it doesn't have something to do with the fact that there is no front strengthening structure as fitted to genuine Vees ?
Or possibly because the front dampers/tops are completely different sizes !
Or maybe that rum plate welding job done to the mounts ?
Or the cracked wheels ?

I seriously doubt a £3 tyre balance will fix it !

I do like the "Bring a Nappy!" title , it's the only genuine comment in his advert as you will undoubtedly piss your self laughing when you see it .

And I bet the 'little men with hammers' :ihatpcs: have been busy on the top of the pistons too
