Clio 172 20v turbo

Hi guys, hope you are well? I am a newbie on here, I was wondering if you can help me? I have recently purchased a Renault Clio 172 1.8 T 20v conversion, track and road legal, I need to change the drive shaft on it as it’s broke, I am based in Bolton and would like to know if there is anyone close to me I can drop the car off and get some work done on it?

Yes VAG inside and clio outside

I dont know of anywhere that would fabricate and fit the shaft as required i'm afraid, unless you wanna pay DJM sort of money.

where has it broken? could possibly remove it and get a fabby to fix it

Happy to weld it if helps but when I did my 1.8 20vt 5 conversion custom was the long term solution.

Prob still have the drawing but expect no use on a Clio

Is yours the vag hollow tube bolt in inner?

Take both cv joints off and get the length. Get dave mac propshafts to make you a custom one piece shaft.
