Clean Vee!

Had the wheels refurbished last week and this morning the car was looking trashed (yes, it gets driven - hard!) so set about it. Usual 2BM, Dodo Supernatural, Bilberry, i4d big fluffy yellow drying thing - nothing special, but I thought it was looking ace!

Shock to its system being driven hard. :)

Looks great for a quicky wash, so it must be in very good condition. :thumb

Are you happy with the wheels and who did them?

Cheers - wheels were done by 'The Wheel Specialist' (formerly Lap-Tab) in Birmingham and barring one minor defect they're pretty much spot on. The finish is exactly what I asked for and very close IMO to the original finish (without the patchiness!).

And yeah, it is in good nick. Desperately in need of a proper machine polish to get the last of the defects out, but other than that it's ace.

Hahaha... just seen it on CS too... Hat off to you for all the attention you've lavished on it since you've owned it. I'm sure you've gone darker on the rims though instead of brighter..?

Looks lovely Mike.. :D

It's actually both - like the original finish. The finish that was on there was very 'flat' - not much differentiation between the bright and the dark. This is the powder-only equivalent of Hi-Power Silver so is about as close as you can get to OEM (without having unpainted bits on the sides of the spokes!).

At normal rates, a drive in, drive out same day service on the wheels is £400. :thumb
