Classic car insurance

N

nattman

Anyone on here managed to get their 21T insured on a classic policy? If so what company did you use? Ive managed to convince the wife to let me spend a bit of cash on my 21 so hopefully get it on the road soon. Biggest hurdle will be insurance but seeing as im only goin to be using it on occasion I though of trying a classic policy. What you guys think?

3k a year iirc......Ive not actually set it up yet. Cars not ready for theft and accidents lol

Any issue would occur if/when you had a claim though. You'd be asked for mileage details at this point.

Classic insurance is more about the customer's details more so than the car, eg usually it must be a second car, limited milage, kept in a garage, low or few amount of modifications etc

A limited milage policy may be a good bet as well.
