Cheapest Vee ever sold?

The car has issues but, based on the year and mileage, is reasonably priced despite the fact it's Cat D.

cambelt hasnt been done either so its gonna be facing a 1k bill straight away and then sourcing original wheels if the kahns arent to your taste. 7k+ for a cat d...about average id say!

I'm saving up for a 172 at the minute for a second/run around but I'd happily pay that for that car. Being cat D means bugger all in my opinion and especially at that price. Ive even got a spare set of wheels for it lol.

Doesn't look that bad:

There have been a few recorded cars going through recently at that sort of price or even less. Makes you wonder why people would bother building replicas. Great value.

Group 20 insurance, perhaps?!

Indeed! I can almost understand with the V6 replicas - they never look right but some of them aren't a million miles off, and the insurance can't be as bad as a real one. The 2 litres I don't think make any sense, as surely it bumps it up a bit and I never found my 182s to be particularly prohibitive - I can insure a Trophy with no NCB for what I pay for the vee, which needs me to have 6 years!
