I think our plan from the NW area is to travel down around midday with the view of arriving mid-afternoon for a vee washing session, then shower and head out for some food and cheeky drinks!

The google route finder says it will take 3hours 30mins to get to that point so would expect to arrive about between 120 and 1:00 on the Saturday depending on traffic/breakfast stop, is the tickled trout a filling station? just so i know i have picked the correct point on google maps.

Just called reception, they tell me there is a water supply next door at the BP station, but not at the hotel.

Lol we did that the year before at a different travel lodge, they're sneaky aren't they cos they've got the safety catches on the windows so u can't open them (unless ur sneaky with a screwdriver ha ha), but we were on the ground floor anyway so just kept filling our buckets up in my bath!! Reception lady got a right grump on ha ha, but our vees were sparkling!!
