Well I brought 4 chairs last year and found the time to sit on one for a minute We have a wee table now, I'll bring that along. BBQ may not be allowed and someone with a van would need to bring it.
Was thinking more like things to make the stand stand out.
Free cokes and bottles of water?
Nibbles are easy to bring and keep worry free.
Maybe we could some how promote the cars 10th birthday??? Maybe raise a lil bit of money for the club for various things with a raffle. Winner gets a passenger trip out in a vee on a track session?
Like the idea oldskool!!!!!!!!
Lets get heads up and something different going
Make us show something different!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The raffle/competition for a ride round the track sounds great.
I could get a re-run of the 10th Anniversary decals and coax everyone to buy one from the shop. Although these stickers said 1998 - 2008
Seems to be some confusion over the anniversary "first previewed at the Paris Motor Show in 1998, the Clio V6 230 Mk 1 finally hit the streets in 2001."
Can we get some new stickers commissioned, with not only the anniversary on, but also reference to the 'Mas du Clos' meeting. Perhaps with a small profile of the circuit, like that of other circuits?
Although the raffle for a ride out in one of our vee's is a great idea, I think consideration would need to be made regarding insurance or a waiver for anyone winning the prize.
I wonder if the owner of the 'Dragon' trophy car or maybe another Trophy, could be persueded to attend?
