Ok, as a direct replacement should one fail then yes, this is a great idea and after rereading what you typed I agree to a point. Now is the time to start producing stuff like this as things are definatly drying up. The APEC brake discs for instance have been a great hit and I would only see this being similar.
I was on the assumption that there was a quest for more power when the statement that the already available ph1 janspeed setup strangles the ph2 because the extra 25hp. True or not, its a far superior design compared to the poor cast items that were fitted to the 255hp ph2, 230hp ph1, 210hp laguna and 190hp non vvc laguna. Yes, they are that old and haven't changed in the slightest. Hence, if I was prepared to spend abit of coin and look for a gain in performance, say 15-20hp, I wouldn't do so unless they were gone at the end of it. Reason being, I can't see a part originaly designed for a 185-190hp engine working very well on one approaching 270.
