Ha, I doubt that will happen

Back on topic, let's see if you have any further takers and look forward to seeing the results ...

for a moment there i thought i saw an olive branch .............................hmmm must get my eyes tested ....................two deffusers so far only need a couple more to make it worth while doing short limited run of 4/5 ish and thats it move on to the next project and i have plenty lined up

Just to let you know, a Lotus Exige rear "working" diffuser, very very very nearly fits the vee. Though with out getting the complete rear underside of the car redesigned, including exhaust and rear subframe and having it sticking 2 ft out the back, I very much doubt a noticable difference would ever be felt on our heavy rear ends. Computer modeling/simulations would be the best way to initially design a working diffuser.

Just my opinion, why not add skirts too the bumpers and sills, add a 12v to 240v AC converter to your fag lighter, wack the latest Super high suckage Dyson to the rear parcel shelf, route the hose to the underside of the car, plug the Dyson in and feel them 18's grip like hell!! They band that techno stuff in F1 its that effective! ;)

Will be interested to see the outcomes Ray. If they are as good as my baulkhead ill definatly give it a think fella.

How are you going to solve the "challenge" of getting the right angle on it/depths of tunnels and not ending up with zero ground clearance or it sticking out the back?

This is a serious question by the way - I've looked at it myself but couldn't see an easy solution that didn't involve significant compromises that on a road car may not be acceptable.

I'm fascinated to see what you come up with just wish I had some spare cash to help fund the development effort but too much of my limited money is committed elsewhere :(

most aerodynamic mods on the car will never be used to the full how ever i do take on board what your saying and the thing will have to stick out the trick will be making it look right and work without it looking a complete balls up for you on the track it dosent matter but the road cars need to be a bit more discreet how ever after taking in all the info on this i think it can be done but it needs more than just me done every thing else my self and taken the hit on the money would like to share the pain this time ANY INPUT FROM YOURSELF MAX IS HELPFULL OR ANYONE ELSE WHO HAS THE KNOWLEDGE NO DIFFUSER KICKERS PLEASE

Have you ever been kicked in the diffuser? renault seem to do this every time you try to buy parts for a clio.
