Car doesn't start, got fuel

Hallo,

After a pleasant driving. I parked my car for 1 hour, wanted to drive away but it doesn't start.
Battery has enough power, startmotor rotates. But it doesn't start.

I tried with an ELM WiFi tool to see what is going on and I can't see any rpm signal. I rotate the engine by the starter motor so there should be a little rotation, right?

(Car has been running fine, only several times some months ago there was a misfire in Cylinder 1,2 and 3 and the engine light comes than on very shortly and goes out. Renault dealer searched everywhere but couldn't find it. The car runned great.)

What do you think the problem is?

Yesterday I took the rpm sensor/crankshaft pulse sensor out to see if there was something wrong with it. Couldn't see any problems with it.
Today I tried to start the V6 several times, nothing worked.
Today I took the rpm sensor again out to see the part number (which is: 6025403357), mounted it back and it started directly after the first try. [smilie=yay.gif] :race:

What is the problem that it didn't start yesterday? :ihatpcs:
Tomorrow I hope the dealer has some time so they can read fault codes. :(

Will be continued!

Indeed the V6 had an error on the rpm sensor/crankshaft pulse sensor. Dealer tried to bend the pins of the connector a bit to try, fault didn't came back. A new sensor is almost 200 euros he said.

Anyone else had this problem before?

I have had crank sensor failures on different types of Renault before yes. It's not "common" but it does happen.
