Car Covers....

I have a storm force on the 5, don't expect it to stay in good condition and water proof much over a year outside. Maybe 2. Massively disappointed in them tbh. Expect it would be great inside.

Oh :ac:

Thanks for the feedback @davemaygtt, I was thinking the old Storm force covers were the daddies!? I guess it's the UV that gets too them before the British Weather??

I would be willing to pay up to £250 however it's difficult to know if there would be any noticeable difference paying that amount or getting one for half the price.
Obviously an outdoor cover wouldn't last forever but if I paid big bucks I would like to think it would last longer than a year. I suppose the weather conditions and the location where the car is parked would play a big part.

With that money I would definitely look at a pop up garage. I will be building a car port rather than invest in a new cover again.

Pop up garage - good suggestion.
I have taken a look on e-bay and found one which would fit the car and on my drive for around £270.
Bit more research required.

I've had the 5 for close to six years and I during that time it's been used regularly but parked outside of the house.
The normal rust spots (below the windscreen) were there when I bought it and the paint on the roof and bonnet wasn't great. The boot was also quite badly rusted so I gathered up a few pennies to get everything tidied up.
Just waiting to get it back now but it'll probably be parked up in it's new home until the weather improves.
