Can exhaust manifolds be powder coated?

G

Guest

I've read on a powder coating company's website that powercoating is resistant to heat.

I'll query this with them, but thought i'd ask your opinion on it?

I'm going to be getting the cam cover, inlet manifold, throttle body, lifting eyes etc powder coated. Wondered whether i could get the exhaust manifold done too?

Not bothered about the heat it gives off just want it to look better.

Too much

What methods have others used to paint their manifold that have actually lasted?

I painted mine using high temp manifold paint and it lasted about a day, then it went pink, then it went rusty brown again.

I want to get it to either a nice silver colour or black, i'd like it to look how it did when they came from the factory.

It's not for the turbo dude it's for the hybrid! It's gonna be 99% stock apart from the secret F7R and i'm gonna try and get it looking factory fresh :)
