LOL, I was saying the other day to the missus that in hindsight, I wholly regret doing that now. I'm older and wiser but back then I was chasing a magazine feature....needless to say it never happened, I was too blind to see it.
I dont regret the experience, I just regret the spend and the chosen path. I wished I'd gone power, like Phil is now.
However let me in your house and I'm sure as **** I'll find some decor that I find on the gash side.....difference is I'd be polite enough to realise its your taste and your money so I'd shut my cakehole accordingly :heh::heh:

I've got some pics backed up on disc from the trips to Belgium....i'll dig out he discs & post a couple up for your approval........
As for the colour - i was never a fan but each to there own...shame she had to go....as it always looked good parked next to the purple one.....(can't remember the owners name)

Mr La Rue, I love the colour and always have, I thought it suited the car, I just regret doing it. Car was fine as it was in all honesty....I took a gamble trying to raise the 21's profile and it kinda failed lol

Zorro was being shelved but calls from Craig, Amrit, Stuart Harrington, Dips , Sibley followed by Phil hovvering for bits like a vulture lol caused me to have a rethink. Its a perfectly good shell and I couldnt let it be sent to the Chinese without me letting her sail again :biggrin1:
As for a magazine feature, a) it wasnt a Saxo or 'current enough' b)the Carisma retrim wasnt enough, both Fast Car and Redline wanted fibreglass dash, and a mental I.C.E install c) P.F.C magazine basically said 'come back when you've turned it into a 206 built by Ecosse'.
I never buy PFC, its not IMO open minded enough to call itself a dedicated 'French' magazine. There are plenty of non C2/Clio esq cars inc 21's good enough for a feature, Robregs'/your old white ph1, Andy Wellers/Chris Clews burgundy delight, Amrits (although the Scooby scoop possible puts them off), I think Johnspins Quadra is mint and has subtle enough mods for it to get a mention....when BOB was in Rogers hands it was a cracking car. Lewis is now picking up the bill of subsequent neglect....it's become a tad swiss cheese like underneath lol
