Camden Renault Closed

Just been over to Camden Northampton to sort out a parts issue with the spares dept.
After speaking to them yesterday i was surprised to find the gates closed when i arrived.Officials told me the complex and the showroom down the road are closed with immediate effect.Looks like another victim of the credit crisis leaving my nearest dealer now in Kettering

Ah well thats just bloody great!! lol Im never going to beable to pop in on the way home from work now. Do Milton Keynes have a branch? That maybe a little easier for me to get to as Im a stones throw from the M1.

I was told Camden would not be re opening and i think all branches may have closed.Looked like a surprise shutdown as mechanics were gathered nearby still in workgear but the site was firmly closed.
There has been a newsflash this evening saying Paragon may have bought the company but no comment on its future.
Mk would have been my second choice but i fear it may also be shut.Bedford or Kettering are next closest for us.

Well thats a bummer. Will just have to avoid any need to go to the main dealer from now on then. Given the size of Northampton, I will be very suprised if a dealer isn't up and going soon though.

Southampton lost it's main dealer Inchape just the other week!

Iam guessing the camden renault near luton will be shut also. Poo i bought the vee there and i get sent there with warenty issues...

camden has been brought by paragon, also have cars stored at thurleigh and bicester.

they've just taken over there pdi center at islip.
