Cambelt Booked

Thats me just booked the vee in for its cambelt, aux belt, water pump and oil service.

I feel like i have been on the phone for a week solid but i have managed to haggle a deal which includes all the above for £890 which i feel is a very good price as its a main dealer in Dunfermline. I wanted to keep the history with Renault as the car has been serviced every year by them.

I had to get put through to the same guy as i got the 'theres no way you could have been quoted that price sir' then after 5 minutes wait the person who agreed the price remembered me! (thank god for that!)

I feel a lot better now its booked in and the price is agreed!!

Were you trying alot of dealers as that seems a fair bit away from you?

Yes Iain i tried a few around the area, its only 75 miles from me so just over an hour. No trouble at all as i travel at least that to get to kart meetings without blinking! (and thats in a renault trafic van!! lol)
