cambelt and clutch (parts)

L7X 762 (255 mk2 V6) cambelt kit RENAULT RRP - £351.88+VAT

mk2 V6 clutch £195.79+vat (and i'm not even sure if comes with the slave clyinder!)

also the aux belt KIT is £187+vat rrp

now the interesting bit

i can do the OE renault parts at discount (17.5% off rrp on the cambelt and clutch, 5% off the aux belt kit)

or i can do QH (Quinton Hazell) cambelt kit and clutch kit MUCH cheaper (cambelt kit approx £100 less and clutch approx £45 less INCLUDING THE SLAVE CYLINDER!)

unfortunately the aux belt kit is renault ONLY

now i know we all love our cars etc etc and some of you i'm sure are 100% positive OE renault parts are all you want, that's fine, but may i remind you all that all the major parts suppliers (motaquip, QH, LUK, Valeo, gates etc etc etc) are actually oe suppliers, and what you buy off them is 99.9% of the time the same stuff the factory buy (and all the major parts boys buy and sell to each other too)

i'm going to be putting QH bits on my V6 soon

i will 100% confirm prices for both the mk1 and mk2 V6's later

I would be intrested in a OE clutch Kit, I think its valeo who supply renault with clutches.
I have tried to source a valeo clutch kit independently , with no success ! (I could only find a LUK clutch kit listed)
(I am starting to think Valeo may be only supply this kit to renault)
Also as you said, I dont think the kit come with the Slave cylinder either, as it seems to be listed as a seperate part on the parts catalogue diagram.
