Cabby HTR

cool next one is with a name, it'll be called 'How the hell do i get the broken manifold stud out?'

i've spent more on tools in the last year or 2 than parts!

Was a bit of a tiny update- just so relieved to get it out and not have to drill it out

also bought the other type of extractor that you drill and screw them in.

copper grease will be liberally applied of course!

First thing... who sold you that decat... looks very familiar.

Secondly the roll pin - if you rotate the shaft on the splines 180 degrees the holes will line up and the pin will go in.

update. The decat is great for sound and a little more omph but i'm swapping back to the hollowed cat at some point because it is causing the tail pipe to sit low and there's a really annoying rattle with it on.

rather have a go myself bazza! Just don't feel like getting under the car lately with this weather.

there's a new page on the report too ;)

gen part - the decat? it's a home made job i recon.

that's just it, one side's different to the other. They'd have to make a mirror-opposite version for both sides to spin the same way.
