5 GT Turbo C1J rebuild.

Lookin good. I've never put any lube on plugs ever, in fact was always told they should be dry. Tracy tools in Torquay do a nice set of cheap carbon steel spark plug taps, which are great for cleaning off the gunk that builds up in the threadform over the years. Running a tap through all threaded holes at rebuild time never does any harm and can highlight a thread needing inserted before the inevitable happens.
Caps and rotors (even Valeo ones) are poor imitations of the originals. I've thrown away stuff that was better than what you get now.

Nice build thread this. Interestingly, in Australia they were not happy with the riveted engine serial number so, I had to have the number stamped into the block. I used the underside on one of the legs that protrudes from the flywheel end inline with the crank center-line.
