I like the plate!

...but you're going to get pulled and fined.

When it's returned to the proper spacing - it will probably look quite ordinary.

Rather than waste money - I'd wear a set fabricated of legal ones - and keep those for special occasions. : )

I wore those plates for 18 months !
I never got pulled once and never had any problems. I suspect its down to a bit of bad luck and what mood the policeman is in on the day !? The plate is not strictly legal but its not exactly taking the P*ss.

I suspect crazy driving with bald tyres and no tax might get them to warn somebody on plates !?

If you get pulled and have a private plate they have the power to report it and get the plate revoked so you'd have to put it back on the standard one.

I like its slightly controversial ... Makes it stand out and memorable . Plus i willing to take a slight risk as car is exiting and fun and looks like nothing else . It's what these cars are all about ... But forgetting place hope people like this car in the pictures !

Cool plate. I would take the risk with that plate. I reckon most lay-people would think it's a genuine plate. I would drive it and if eventually you get pullled fair do's but I am sure the police have better things to do.

Little update

Garage was concrete floor ... Quite dusty . So got some top quality floor paint (kinda matches titanium paint) and got floor painted so vee has got a nice clean surface to sit on ... Hopefully get some nice bright garage lighting next

Titanium is beautiful!! Love the garage floor too! Can you paint floors that are concrete but not quite as smooth as that?

thats a real nice touch! Ive done my garage walls, but not thought about the floor, what sort of paint was it?

yeh i think if its not smooth will still be ok ... its just floor paint ... can get it from any diy store. comes in all colors to

make sure the paint is an inch thick where your tyres will be as it always rubs off, and if next doors cat decides to walk on the paint like mine, give that a coat of grey as well !!!,

Add thinners to the first coat of concrete floor paint , this soaks in to the floor and seals it :approve:
