Breather/Vac pipe manifold part No:

V6 Ade

New Member
Cleaned my piper air filter and changed the plugs over the weekend while i was off, and found i've got a Breather/Vac pipe split.

It's the one under the throttle body that seems to go to a breather/vac manifold of some sort, the pipe is around 12mm in diameter and 80mm in length and "S" shaped.

I've had to sleave it at the moment but wondered if theres a drawing for it or part number?

Anyone have any ideas?

off the subject but, you have quoted on the footer of your post 230 bhp, am interested as i am trying to sort the dyno day, do you have any dyno graphs, can you post a copy if you have? might generate a little more interest as its a good figure.

Spike, have two graphs if your intereseted. I will dig them out when i'm next off and try to scan them in.

James, do you have a pic regarding this section of pipe in your parts drawings / info ?????

I cracked this pipe on mine when I last changed the coils. I converted it to rubber hose not because of price but this way I'm pretty sure it won't split/break again. Not sure why they made it from such fragile material to be honest.

Maybe one of these? LINK

That's the one james, i take it looking at the Pic its the whole unit thats needed not just the pipe's, is there a part No:?

Perhaps rubber hose is the way, it really is a bad material to use in the engine bay with the heat the V6 generates under all those covers.

Spike, where abouts are you located, i'm from MK and get down now and again to see family, could have a Mini meet with other V's in area over the summer?
