Brake upgrade

Hey guys

I've browsed and read previous posts on this, but I wanted to ask if anyone knows how much brake fluid is needed for a fluid change?

I am looking to put DS2500 pads on the front along with braided brake hoses and ATE TYP200 brake fluid as the brakes are surprisingly weak even though there is plenty of life in the discs and (Red stuff) pads.

I've always found the brakes pretty good. I'd be weary that your discs may need a skim...
My discs outwards still had life in them, but my brakes had got to the point of me losing trust. Got Scott to sling in some new APECs at the front and it's totally transformed them :).

For the money, these are great discs....I use them on the 21 (Straight fit for a 330mm disc upgrade with some 4-pots) and I beat the absolute shit out of them. They've lasted two sets of yellow stuff pads so far and I normally have to change discs every second set of pads but these will go another round I think.

This is it Andy, I really don't have much trust in the brakes. So you're saying these discs are really good? Good price if so and will look at getting some.

Scott could confirm for certain, but I'm confident APEC only make the one choice for Vees. There's been some discussion recently about the thickness of their Vee rear disks, but no concerns with their front disks. Just as good as OEM from my experience, and was no brainer given their cost. Mine are paired with fresh red stuff pads.
