Brake Caliper - Complete Refurb

Disappointed so far. Got them back. Happy enough with the finish, but he has reassembled the rear calipers incorrectly and also sent up two drivers side carriers, so now I can't refit the bloody things!
Guys attitude isn't great. I believe my carrier is at SG motorsport! Better still be there for Jonny @ brakecaliperrefurbs sake!

When I got my calipers back from Brake Caliper Refurbs they did not have the bleed nipple dust covers. It took 3-4 weeks to get them after sending numerous emails.
IMHO the actual Caliper strip and paint is great. The rebuild on my front and rear calipers were fine (Scott @ SG never made a comment on any problems). It was the time taken to actually do the refurb, the minor details that were missed and Jonny's attitude that let the service down.

Well Jonny has just received mine this week fronts and rears..
I've noticed that he doesnt fancy calling or emailing back straight away but lucky spoke to him this evening. Sounds like he is going through a move to new premises and just very busy!!
Just hope that the quality is worth the waiting [smilie=icon_eek.gif]
Can i ask for those who have used him so far how much did he charge and for what...
Am going for complete refurbished on paint and also to be completely stripped on pistons and seals. :rollseyes:

Quality of his work on my calipers was first class.
The total cost for all 4 calipers completely refurbed including stripping down was £445.00
For information, it took 4 weeks from sending the calipers off to getting them back, with a bit of chasing.

Ah thats not to bad as think on website says a total front and rear of £425..
by the time i get mine back looking at 4 weeks also.. but by the sounds he has in stock the rear seals where he had to wait on for other v6 brake overhauls..
