Hi, can anyone tell me the difference between the 710 and the 714 bottoms end in terms of putting with my f7p head? Thanks

Hey. I believe. the diff is ones a megane an another was the spider bottom end,, both are as good as each other, Im running a full Williams engine in my 19,

I'm not sure the exact difference but stick to the recommended one, honestly cant recall the difference anymore but I think the other one will make your job harder

I just replied to your pm as well.

714 has chain driven oil pump so sumps different so you need tyhe sump.

The oil pump drive pulley on the belt is just an idler and later ones had it removed altogether.

The back of the block is slightly different as the oil pressure sender is horizontlal instead of vertial.

The coolant drain plug is gone but its missing on late f7p's anyway

Would it less hassle and expence to stick a set of kent cams and chip in it?Thats all thats done to my ph1 plus a powerflow exhaust(cat still in place)and its dyno'd at 169bhp.
