Bonjour NEWBIE ALERT

New Member
Hi Guys :salut:
I’m Ant from Horsham, West Sussex.
Just wanted to warn you I’m a newbie that’s been hanging around for quite a long time. I’ve wanted a vee for many years now.
Pleased to say I pick a nice phs1 next Thursday.

Hi Ant,

Great news on the new car, hope you enjoy! Do post up some photos when you get it! :race:

There as a few of us reasonably local to you, do let us know if you want to join in any meet ups.

Thanks buddy
I’m definitely up for a few meet ups and any excuse to get out!
I think the car I’m buying was fairly well known and documented on here number 441.
I must admit for the price I’ve paid it was an absolute steel so will be looking at spending a bit on her to get it top notch!

Congratulations on your purchase - it looks like [v6plaque]441[/v6plaque] has some nice bits added on. :approve:

If you are up for it Silverstone Classic 2020 would be an excellent outing - click here to see more details on how to book tickets (includes discount code issued to v6clio.net).

If you follow the above link there is also a link to add your Vee to the V6 Register.

Thanks for the welcome guys.
I should be up for silverstone if all goes to plan! It’ll be great to meet up with a few other vee owners. I definitely plan to get some use out of it. Looking through its history it’s been laid up for almost 5 years. Unfortunately I guess most are garage queens now.

mine isnt [cmilie=iconcheers.gif] - went to the supermarket in it yesterday and to visit my parents who live a little distance away in an assisted living place. When i came out to go home, i had to crawl over from the passenger side as some complete bell-end in a Range Rover has parked as close to me as he possibly could and i couldnt open the driver door   .

Admittedly, it lives in the garage during the week - i am not leaving it at our local railway station to be dinged or worse!! - but at weekends, i use it as much as i can. Every saturday morning, i open the garage door and it puts a massive smile on my face.... :) :)

Like you, i am a relatively new convert - less than a year, but its the best car i have ever bought and i have had a few! you will love it, i am sure.

I’m really looking forward to using it as much as possible They really need to be out and seen more. Such an iconic vehicle that the world should see more often Lol :race:
