Anyone know the car? My good mate has a registered breakers yard with the required licenses so i've asked him if he wants to buy it.

That's a real shame, I hope no one was injured in the crash.

Really really nice car that one was. Probably worth a bit in bit spares.

Sad to see the demise of yet another Vee - [v6plaque]242[/v6plaque] according to the V6 Register and under 10K miles from new.

Looks like it side-swiped something solid. Hope no one was seriously injured. :(

Really tragic but what I don't understand is how that happens to what is clearly a pampered, low mileage, well looked after car.
If its a collectors investment then surely it only gets driven in the dry and with relative caution.
Has it been lent to someone as a have a wee try.
Or just found a new owner who has never driven one and 'opens it up' in the wrong conditions
Or still on 'original' tyres for added value that have gone hard.

Frankly this has made me more determined to drive mine all year and keep my skills and respect for it fresh in mind so I don't take liberties. Oh and fresh MPS rubber always recommended.

It looks like it's gone back to auction if someone is interested. I might be interested to grab some parts if they go for sale here.

It's painful to see a v6 like this but at least its parts hopefully will help keep others alive. :salut:

Either slid into a post/tree sideways or its had a bike go in the side.

I didnt see the first auction so dont know what it went for but it wasnt enough evidently, its back up for another go around. Might have a bid this time.

Just watched this go for the third time around, six grand plus fees (and VAT on the sale price which is unusual) so £8019 all included, approx.

Reserve was 9k (plus fees) I believe so itll enter negotiations. Seller wont want to relist again as you get charged selling fees after the third failed sale.

I didnt download the full set no sorry, so the only way you can see them now is to pay for a vehicle history from vcheck or similar.
